Sir,

I shall be much obliged if you will kindly

make the following alteration in the last two lines

of the 4th paragraph on page 19 of the notes of

judgment in the case of the China Navigation Company

Ltd., against H.M. Attorney General which accompanied

my letter of the 16th April 1932.

You will see that Lord Justice Slesser there

gave as an instance of payments having been received

without statutory authority, the case of the Guard at

the Bank of England. In fact, no charge is made for

the Bank of England Guard, and I have received

Lord Justice Slesser's consent to that instance being

expunged. The 4th paragraph thus ends at the words

"Film Companies" and the word "and" must be inserted

after "Regimental Bands" in the preceding line.

FRB/EW.

The Secretary of State,

Colonial Office,

Downing Street,

Whitehall, S.W.1.

I am, Sir,

Your obedient Servant,

Cimbr
